LOIs & Cover Letters

“LOI” stands for letters of intent or interest. LOIs and cover letters share a few features with grant proposals, although in many ways they are very different. In this four-part, email-based course, you will learn about these differences, including how to write LOIs and cover letters, and the ways each type of document supports a grant proposal. The four parts of the course are: (1) Introduction to LOIs, (2) Cover Letter Basics, (3) Cover Letter Content, and (4) Writing an LOI.
